Happy New Year

Happy New Year dearest Bloggers! :) It's been a different year :)
 Just a peek a boo into the year 2011 (a mixed year).

January: 
All things were not too well,
Dad fell ill! 
Celebrated Sankranti in the Hospital


Placed a Kite beside Dad's bed 
He wished he flew the kite, 
while being fed


February:
Hoped there were good times ahead 
Good wishes and prayers were wed


March:
Ignite Hyderabad that bound us all
Planning, meeting. ah! had a ball

April:
Our first Ignite meet in the month of Spring 
for all of us--It was the coolest thing

May:
Got the first print of my book, too
Ah! Happiness, excitement, feelings, new
Mummy made my favourite pudding
Felt like a crazy kid while cutting! :D

Speeches for toastmasters and fears, I spoke aloud
Found new friends, a class apart from the crowd
With grandfather I had times, that I could cherish
A relation, with phone calls and meetings-it got nourished










June and July just went by 
In events, galore, 
realised time just flies 


September was not a pleasant one for us
Grandfather's death ramshackled all of us


Gathering strength and courage, October tip toed to November in few days
Despite arguments, Gradmother made sure we celebrate my birthday 





November was when Ravi got married too
Went to Bhubaneswar to greet the couple, new


Many things brew in the month of December
Old promises, renewed and still gorged on the cake of November








Made new friends in this year
Tried to Dishoom Dishoom my fears


Endeavours and promises, were made
And buried, all things that were decayed


The new year, I wish, brings a lot of joys, good luck, good health for all
Hope we explore more of our heritage instead of whiling away time in the mall(s) :P
