That was a really nice story. Made me travel down my memory lane and get all nostalgic... :)
However, compared to other stories, this one was quite fast paced and thus seemed too good to be true. But I guess it's becoming a trend nowadays...

This was about relationships and marriage so couldn't relate to it, but I did understand it. :)
The fact that you tried to write from a perspective of a guy is commendable. :)

That the story has you hooked till the end is saying a lot about your story-telling ability...which is great!
Nice, captivating beginning. Good ending too. Can take care of the meandering story in between(Eg.The mother's character interrupts with the story line taking it away from its focus.)
